RIISAM203D Use hand and power tools
This course is designed to provide the applicant with the required knowledge and skills on how to safely identify, select, check and operate hand and power tools in the workplace or on a worksite.
The topics covered throughout this training course are as follows:
- What are hand and power tools?
- Risks associated with using hand and power tools
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Safely identify, select, check and operate hand tools
On successful completion of this training course, candidates will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment with the unit of competency RIISAM203D Use hand and power tools.
